Gradara

I find that for the first time Sculpture has given “ shape “ to the light.
Light does not expand in the way we expect, but it creates surprising effects.
As in Sculpting, light is chiselled, revealing the shape and the inner soul of the piece.
The artist-demiurge moulds the stuff-shape, delivering a splendid result : the character of the light.
All this, according to a famous artist, reproduces myriads of different effects on the walls, widening or narrowing the spaces on them.
The final result of all these works fascinates me, and I would call them simply lyrics.

I had the pleasure of following a “ visual “ visit through the rooms which housed the exhibition of the sculptor Manuele Urbinati from Gradara.
The sculptures that the artist has created are a passionate synthesis in his capability in blending together complex materials such as wood and metal.
Each work is an introspection and interpretation expressed with a wise and firm hand.
The warm colors of wood blend beautifully with metals, and together create effects and shades totally “ unexpected”.
The exhibition of Urbinati is a real pleasure to everyone who appreciates things “ well done “ and a venue I definitely suggest to visit.
