Mombaroccio

To blend own emotions and to be able to transfer them with dexterity and artistic talent is an ability that few can show, but those who succeed can be called Artists in the real sense of the word.
Manuele Urbinati was literally born from the tradition of woodworking, handed on by his father. Since childhood, he was fascinated by wood : unic material, rich of incredible peculiarities.
His choice of working on “ left over “ pieces found on the beach during his walks, lead him to imagine and interpret the whole life that the piece had untill the moment it was found.
Every cut, curve, hole, has been a “present “ that Mother Nature left to it.
And every one of these signs has been respected and kept, even enhanced with the use of other materials such as glass and metal.
The result of this philosophy is that each piece is a work of art with its life, expressed through its lights, shades and colors.
Each piece transmitts strong emotions to the artist ( as for any work of art ), and this is shown by the easiness with which the artist shapes the pieces following his dreamlike images.
The Church of San Marco in Mombaroccio will be the perfect “theatre” where, with lights and music, his works of art will create an itinerary full of emotion, target unmissable when we have the privilege to attend artistic exhibitions like this..
